High Five

Volunteer Opportunities

CSCCO relies on volunteers in many ways, and our greatest needs are behind the scenes. Volunteers help strengthen our programs and expand our reach through activities such as:

· Community outreach and awareness efforts
· Administrative and office support
· Event preparation and event-day assistance
· Data entry and organizational projects
· Resource preparation, pick-up, and distribution

How to Volunteer

We are excited to use Civic Champs, our volunteer management platform, for volunteer onboarding, training, registration, and signing up for events.

If you're interested in volunteering, your first step is to create a Civic Champs account (see steps below) and schedule an onboarding session with our Operations and Outreach Manager, Izzy.

Important Note

While many people are interested in working directly with participants, it is important to note that participant support and clinical services are provided only by our licensed professionals and program staff.

Volunteer roles focus on administrative, outreach, and fundraising event activities that make our services possible and allow our staff to focus on supporting those impacted by cancer. Every volunteer contribution plays a meaningful role in helping us serve our community.
